SUPERFILIALE – That should be worth your own future!
SUPERFILIALE (Markus Born & Markus Zimmermann). The ongoing project
SUPERFILIALE provides the framework for installations and performances that appear in ever changing artistic settings. The branches, opened by Markus Born and Markus
Zimmermann in galleries and malls, on markets, in homes and churches, target ritualized forms of interaction from reading through worship and shopping tours to divination and the doctor’s office. Consumption and production, giving and taking as well as creation and destruction merge when SUPERFILIALE stages human longings and desires. Markus Born (*1978 in Hagen) lives in Berlin. His work addresses the transfer of experience into language as well as artistic authenticity and the actuality of the past. Markus Zimmermann (1978, Hanover, lives and works in Berlin and Hanover) studied at the HBK Braunschweig (master student) and at the Kunstakademie Münster. Since 2016 joint cooperation between Born and Zimmermann within the project SUPERFILIALE.
The performance takes place in the frame of Zukunftsland 2099.
Zukunftsland 2099 is curated by Mikala Hyldig Dal, Katharina Koch, Dorothea Nold and takes place in cooperation with Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, Prinzessinnengarten Kreuzberg, Lausitzer Str. 10, Augmented Archive.
